ICS3U Computational Environment Evaluation
Instructions
The first evaluation in ICS3U Grade 11 Computer Science is going to be a short test. You will complete the test on your ICS3U1 course page on the HUB in the Quizzes section.
Before completing the test make sure you have read all the material and completed the activities in
- Computer Software Lesson
- Computer Hardware Lesson
- Number Systems Lesson
- How Software Interacts with Hardware Lesson
You don’t need to memorize all of the information in the lessons, but need to know and understand the main ideas of each topic
Your grade will be based on your ability to demonstrate the overall expectations from the Ontario Computer Studies Curriculum
C1 – Computer Hardware
- Relate the specifications of computer components to user requirements
C2 – Selection and Repetition Structures
- Use appropriate file maintenance practices to organize and safeguard data
C3 – Algorithm Design
- Demonstrate an understanding of the software development process
